Have a dog who loves to run, chase a ball, jump, or just GO? They might be a future flyball dog! Crazy Train Flyball Team is excited to offer our Beginner/Foundations Flyball Class, starting Thursday, October 8, 2026. And one of the best parts?
We’re training INDOORS—in AIR CONDITIONING!
No standing around in the Arizona heat while you and your dog try to learn something new. You’ll get to train in a comfortable indoor facility where you can focus on having fun with your dog.
What is Flyball?
Flyball is a fast-paced team dog sport that combines running, jumping, retrieving, and racing. Dogs race over a line of jumps, trigger a flyball box to release a ball, grab it, and race back to their handler. But before dogs are flying down a full course, they learn the individual skills that make it all work—and that’s exactly what our Beginner/Foundations class is about. You don’t need any flyball experience. Your dog doesn’t need to know how to use a flyball box. In fact, this class is specifically designed for dogs who are brand new to the sport.
Who is Crazy Train Flyball?
Crazy Train Flyball Team is a non-profit social club that trains together and supports each other.
What Will You and Your Dog Learn?
Over five weeks, we’ll introduce the building blocks of flyball while helping your dog develop focus, confidence, drive, and teamwork with you.
We’ll work on:
- Focus and engagement
- Ball retrieves
- Fast, enthusiastic recalls
- Foundations of jumping
- Passing and working around other dogs
- Box turn foundations
Everything is broken down into pieces so your dog can learn the sport while having a great time. And yes—there will be lots of running, balls, treats, toys, cheering, and happy dogs.

Who Can Join?
We welcome dogs of all breeds and mixes. Big dogs, little dogs, speedy dogs, goofy dogs—we love them all. Dogs should be new to flyball and must be non-aggressive toward other dogs.
Please bring one dog per handler so you can concentrate on learning and building skills together.
Class size is limited, giving each dog and handler plenty of opportunity to work.
